Man Instagram is so cool, there’s so many accounts exclusively posting memes and uncredited fanart from Twitter and Tumblr with follower counts in the thousands, notes in the triple digits. Every other post is an advertisement. The only messages I recieve are from scammers asking me to endorse something. Specific tags will summon hordes of bots to your post, but you’ll still get buried in the algorithm if you don’t post frequntly. I especially like how sometimes when I post art that I’m proud of I -lose- followers.

I buy physical copies of things. Then I stream them for convenience.
But I still have the thing.
Because, y'all, shit just goes away sometimes.
I bought a movie through VHX once, and forgot to download a local copy. And then VHX took down the storefront the independent movie was sold through.
And now I don't have the movie I fuckin' paid for. You know what I do have?
The physical poster for the movie I bought at the same time.
